Happy Thanksgiving

I am going to be honest and admit that I wish we were having a huge family get together at some point this weekend, but we aren't. We are having a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with two thirds of our immediate family. G1 and G3 are with their dad for the holiday.

I have decided to look at things positively. It's the only way really. This year has been rather difficult with the wreck back in June and myself and hubs going to the chiropractor and such to attempt to get back to where we were six months ago.

  • We get to enjoy a small family dinner at home.
  • Do not have to rush out to all the sales Friday morning.
  • Get to enjoy a long weekend around the house cleaning, organizing, and possibly decorating.
Of course these things can be looked at as positive or negative. I am choosing to be positive. We will spend quality time together as a family. And that is a good thing.

I am thankful that my kids are healthy.
I am thankful that my husband is responding well to medical treatment after the wreck.
I am thankful that God provided us with a replacement vehicle after the wreck.
I am thankful that I was able to continue school this semester. It has been trying, but worth it.
I am thankful that I won't be stressed out on Friday morning with all the Black Friday shopping.
I am thankful that our future is bright.

I pray you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. Remember to be thankful in all things.
